Do two players on one machine need headphones?
No. Every two-player game here shares the screen and the speakers; turns are marked by on-screen colour rather than separate sounds. In a noisy room you can mute everything in one tap without touching the running hand.
I play on an office computer — is anything stored?
The site has no accounts, so there is no profile to store. Session scores live in browser memory and vanish when you clear browsing data. If you want a long-term sheet, use paper — it also tells a better story.
Will hands run on a slow connection?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, most hands here run even if the network drops, because nothing asks a server mid-round. The page itself is kept light so the first load does not stall on a weak link either.
Which games suit children?
The Memory Tables shelf fits best: rules explained in one sentence, short rounds, and nothing on screen but a deck. Two-player mode is also the easiest way for a child and an adult to share one game without either of them conceding.
Why is there no site-wide leaderboard?
Because a global leaderboard demands accounts and servers, and it changes the goal of a card game from fun to competing with strangers. Here the score belongs to your session; if you want a contest, the person beside you is the best opponent available.
